When I first started working with PlainsCraft Covered Wagons, I quickly identified a need for lifestyle marketing—specifically photography and a video—that would convey the distinct benefits these wagons give their target market. As a (largely) business-to-business brand, we wanted our buyers to know the end result would be guests who are thrilled to stay at their campgrounds. PlainsCraft gave me the go-ahead to plan a lifestyle shoot to use in our marketing.
We hired Kelsey Kimberlin Photography and Andrew Lee to capture what PlainsCraft offers. As the creative director for the project, I provided oversight and creative guidance for the project, and with a little pre-production planning, clear objectives, and a mood board to describe my vision, the team delivered photography and a video that clearly showed the quality and purpose of a PlainsCraft wagon. We’ve used this lifestyle marketing through numerous touchpoints, including email, social media, at trade shows, at in-person events, on our website, and in advertising with trade partners.
