When I started working with Topeka Soccer Club, it quickly became apparent that the website needed an overhaul. The director of the club, Alex Delaney, is a huge soccer lover as well as an experienced website developer and analytics person, and with my background in website copywriting and search engine optimization (SEO), we knew we could tackle the site in a smart and functional way.
Working together to overhaul the Topeka Soccer Club website, we developed an information architecture and I overhauled the copy to ensure it became an information-rich site where parents and kids, coaches, and referees, could get the information they’d need as each season begins. Whether a seasoned player or a brand new rec or Minikicker, we were able to provide enough information that parents have stayed informed without having to call the office for additional information.
